Revolutionising Tripods: The Benro Theta Is An Auto-Levelling Travel Tripod

Once more unto the breach, dear friends...

By mrswoolybill
This was the largest tree that Storm Arwen brought down at Wallington, it's massive, and it came down over the main path through the East Wood, leading to the walled garden. The simplest solution was to cut a section out of the trunk, in order to keep the route open...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

It's not a 'breech' tree is it?

It must have been some storm to bring the tree down, Moira.

Is that whet they mean by "A Cut Through"?

And there's me thinking the storm had snapped it with such a clean cut! Grin

Good shot Moira

No, she's pulling a dog along; which may be only marginally easier... Wink

How the mighty are fallen, by just a puff of windTongue,
I hope some good use came to the rest of, what appears to be an Oak tree of some age, surely too good for burning.
A few tons of wood there, said he, who has been in the garden this afternoon with the splitting axe, converting trees to firewood.Sad

How thoughtful that someone cleared the way, and people didn't have to climb over it! 😃👍🏻

Can't go under it, can't go over it, let's go through it!

Just reminded me of the children's story, We're Going on a Bear Hunt!

Well spotted and taken.
