A different approach to your normal black background - High key - but still a really good character image

A very interesting approach to this one Sawsengee.....but once again you have captured his character, full on.

Fabulous image ee and a great idea to white for the BG and a touch of high key.

Hi Iain, Yes, a departure from my usual black background but not the first time as I have uploaded some in the past e.g.

I immediately thought same as Iain, that normally you upload black backgrounds! No less a pleasing image, and works very well Smile

Hi ee, isolating the dark dreadlocks on a black background obviously would not work, hence the white chosen. This for me works very well. He is a tremendous subject, powerful and intriguing image, well presented. Smile

I have been enjoying the posted work of one of our forum members, her work provokes some thought about the work of other photographers in the mainstream. I find myself comparing the portrait work of one of NGs’ contributors who gained world recognition for one photo of a girl in a refugee camp. It gave him instant world fame as a photographer. I was very impressed with this one particular portrait, however, I have been left wanting with the work that’s followed.

I have found nothing more to rave about compared to our forum member who produces amazing portraits as a matter of routine. One for NG, multitudes for Sawsengee. Thanks ee, for sharing your talent and generosity, my award to one so deserving. GrinSmileTongueWink
