One for the Wall

By Possum
A bit of playful fun... this began life as a crop of a Christmas cactus (see mods for the original and a later part of the process), became a butterfly, then two butterflies, then went through some special effects to become some kind of creature that the Victorians might have mounted on a wall. Inspired by the 'Fig' exhibition at the John Hansard Gallery at Southampton Uni.

Thanks for looking - it won't be to everyone's taste, but all C & C welcome.

You have practically invented your own area of photography with these images, and everything you do with them is so very well judged. This one is excellent, the flatter, restricted colour is balanced beautifully by the border and the smaller areas of deeper blue give it just the lift it needs.
