One in a Gidzillion

Went out around midnight last night to see if I could catch a Perseids meteor. I did manage to get the odd one (right corner), but I was more pleased to get a shot of the Milky Way!

I keep trying to get a good shot of the milky way, so I'm interested in peoples camera settings. Intrigued to see that the aperture setting says f1.0 but it's an f2 lens -
how is this possible?

Somerled7, I don't why it says that - the lens is definitely f2. It might be something to do with the fact the lens is a manual one and the camera is making a 'best guess'. Who knows.......

Yes, there's something odd because the focal length also says 50mm!

A night sky shot with a difference - the clouds rolling away like theatre curtains.
