This really is a very nice image, the little patch of blue sky, the reflections and tones. Super work and what I think is your best photograph to date, you need to get your dad to print and frame this !

This is a remarkable and impressive photograph, Victoria, packed with atmosphere, an adventurous shot into the light that has come out very well. I would not presume to suggest artistic improvements as it has great impact like this; I am not quite 100% sure that the horizon is right, but only you, your dad and the dog can confirm that!
Best wishes,
Bill

Hi!!
Thank you for all the comments and votes. I agree with you that the horizon is slightly sloping. I tried to straighten it on Photoshop, but I couldn't get it quite as straight as I would like it. It's my Birthday on September 6th, so I'm going to ask Mum and Dad to get it properly framed-thanks for the idea!!
Once again, thanks for all the positive feedback on this shot,
Victoria

Great shot, maybe also try and get the horizon on the top third, it's a bit to close to the centre but this is being picky, love the colours.

Beautiful image. Very well done indeed. (A little tip for straightening horizons. Duplicate the image layer and then make a new layer above that. Then using the pencil tool draw a thin horizontal line all the way across the layer at about the same height as the horizon on your image. Then just rotate your image layer until the horizon matches the pencil line. Delete the pencil line layer and re-crop.)

Excellent shot. I'd be tempted to play around with overall colour/hue just to see how it might alter its mood... but is absolutely fine as it is.

Hard to suggest improvement as this is wonderful + I could only suggest tilting it 0.5 degrees to the right to straighten the horizon.... putting that aside it's an absolutely beautiful shot and I had to look twice when I saw 'junior member'. Anyone would be proud of this capture it's perfect. Well done. Framing it will make a stunning addition to your home.

Nice one Victoria!

On the straightening horizon front this is what I have found to be the quickest and most accurate method:

Under the eyedropper tool in photoshop there is a ruler tool If you click on this, then left click the left hand side of the horizon, then move over and click the right hand side you will see a line that you can then fine adjust. When it is level go to rotate canvas and select arbitrary. This will level things up perfectly, then all you have to do is crop it square again.
