One sun and his dog

By Tooth
The sunset over Cloonmass bay with Ards forest park to the left , North Donegal. Taken last night on a mini-meet with Martin Fleming (irishman)

To the right of the sun, the small coloured blob is a sundog , caused by reflection from ice crystals in the atmosphere - a rare and beautiful sight
(thanks to Samantha (Lucretia Borgia) for the link

Lovely sky and reflected light, well composed and taken, the sundog just being visible. Such a shame it cant be viewed large!

Thanks for the credit, Stephen. Plenty of wild weather to be snapped this week! Keep an eye on my portfolio.
