This is a great shot. A shame about the doorway, but you couldn't crop it out because it would have left a badly proportioned photo. Not sure if it is possible, but have you tried burning it in more so that the inside of the house doesn't stand out so much ? Don't tell me you have a stock of shots as good as this that you just haven't uploaded yet ? If that was true then i really would be jealous...........Peter..Wink

I love the way steps are used for display purposes on the Continent. You've managed the composition very well Kate; a pity there isn't a bit of colour (usually geraniums) on offer.

I like the compo and texture of stairs. Plants are of no importance but the pots are great.
