V2 for me Carol as the text in V1 is not to my liking, this is very beautiful and the high key setting is excellent.

I like the 'card' presentation in v1, Carol... the start of a card index/identification to the flora and insect life of the Island.

I do like the Botanical approach with name in V1, followed by the natural image in V2
and both beautifully presented.

I always see a little person in the bee orchid, Carol, and there it is again, having a good laugh. In V2 is looks a bit like a jester, and as if you have lifted one of its arms so it is waving at usGrin.
