Orange Blossoms

By taggart
Orange Blossoms

This tree will make oranges about the size of ping pong balls--- inedible.
They are often used in potpourris and wreath decorations.

They may also be grown as living fences--- note the huge thorns!

Beautiful! My daughter grew an Orange tree from a seed, must have been around 30 years ago! We couldn't believe the thorns as it had never occurred to us Orange trees had thorns.

How pretty these petals are.
I'll be lucky to keep any petals on my tree - the pigeons and other birds seem to like eating them. Smile

Those thorns look lethal, Jenn. Does make you wonder about Nature - why it produces a tree that has inedible fruit?

What a beautiful image Jenn, love the centre of the flower
