Orange Marigold

Orange Marigold taken last weekend. I don't normally take flower pics, but wanted to try out my 70-300 lens. So, I mounted the camera on a tripod and gave it a go. There's a bit of plant matter on the stem just under the flower head. A friend wondered whether this was worth removing in Photoshop, but we decided it was a natural part of the plant so left it in. Feedback appreciated. Thanks, AC.

lovely colour and composition. I'd leave the bit on the stem but get rid of the ghost of a flower on the right dorothy

Very sharp, and it isn't even a specialist close up lens! Colours are spot on.
