Orange Tip

By NigelKiteley
Many thanks for all the feedback on the previously uploaded Brimestone, always appreciated.

Finally managed to see a few male Orange Tips yesterday whilst out with Ben. Went back to the same spot this morning and saw a few more as well as Green Veined Whites, Commas, Peacocks, Brimestones, and a Speckled Wood. The only problem was that it was too hot (never thought i'd be saying that given the recent weather), and nothing would settle. So i'll have to return later this afternoon when hopefully it has cooled down a little. This one's from yesterday.

Too hot???? you must be joking - it's decidedly cold up north!
Great shot however, Nigel.
