Orange Wax Cap Perhaps

By Tony_Baloni
Hi. Taken as a quick snap yesterday I'd be interested to see your comments.

No macro lens here. Instead this was snapped with my 10-22mm set at 22mm and using the camera flash.

I liked the way the flash has highlighted the water droplets and wet cap but feel it's over cluttered.

What say you...???

The flash has picked out the droplets well on the grass but has also left harsh highlights on the shroom.

Some bounced fill flash or a reflector may have worked a little better, a bit of sidelight would have helped pick out the fine detail on the cap.

Sorry but I can't help with the id.

Wow great clarity and detail and no macro lens this is a great shot Tony the sharpness of the droplets makes the shot for me with that splash of colour. I might be tempted to crop it in just a little.

Under the circumstances a terrific effort Tony. Lights a bit fierce but its a great effort.

Nice effect on the rain droplets. I think your identification is probably right, it's one that I can usually recognise.

Excellent contrast of colour and the droplets really sparkle.
