This is M42 or The Orion Nebula found in the Orion constellation, this final image is a combination of 20 thirty sec sub images with final processing in Photoshop. Thanks for looking.

Very nice capture. Love the color within the Orion Nebula. I find your technique very interesting. Well done.

Astrophotography is something that I have always wanted to get into. Just don't have the funds.

I must admit it does cost a fair amount for the initial setup but once its all there the rewards are phenominal, thanks for the comment its much appreciated.

Wow, phenomonal. Didn't realise you could acheive this with a dslr.

@ SteveH, yes the dslr is the cheap way to do it and unlike the dedicated asto ccd's you can also take regular every day photos too, so its win win lol. Thanks for the comment.

Amazing image, for a 30sec stack i can even make out the running man nebula did you use any LP filters or do you have a dark site ?

@kdwendorf, this was before i got a LP filter and dark site it isn't, I live on a main road so I've got street lights to contend with. Thanks for the comment.
