Otter

By Maiwand
Euoropean Otter
Thought it was about time I tried to find something other than a Hawk,Ow, Eagle, to show you. Anyone who has ever visited the BWC will recognise this as one of the lovely and lively otters that display so well for visitors. Best to get them, as this one was, when they are showing lots of interest at meal time.
Hope you will like him/her.
My most grateful thanks as always for the very generous and flattering c/c's given to the Kestrel.

Ron

An excellent capture of this otter Ron. I am assuming it's an american otter as it is clearly a diurnal feeder. A

We have a pair of these that love to play when the ice is just melting in the lake. They are fun to watch.
