Ouch-a tribute too

By redstag
I took this by way of a tribute to Jouko (Jolli) during what must be a very difficult time for him. I hope that it cheers you a little! It has nne of the great richness of your shots, but it does have a pier (just about), some ice, but no snow!
However, it took on a new significance for me, hence the title.
I sometimes cycle to work, and this was one of those days. The weather, though cold, looked wonderful, so I put my G9 in my pannier, and off I went.
I stopped to grab this image on my way, got back on my bike and continued on my way. As I approached a crossing, I thought to myself looks a bit slippy, as I slowed down, I hit black ice, my bike went one way, I went the other. I landed on my shoulder, dislocating it.
So, beautiful it may be, but dangerous too! So be careful.

My shoulder is mending, and don't worry neither camera nor bike were harmed!

All the best

I´m honored, Jon.....Thank YOU!

I just love jetties, piers, docks or as we Finns say LAITURI.........

This has cold and almost mystical feel in it...Love it

Sorry to hear about your bike accident...I´m glad your shoulder is OK......Cameras and bikes can always be replaced, but your heath is not always in your hands....

Great picture, nice capture of the ice and the trees in the back ground with the snow I think I can t really tell if its snow or rain. The dock in the fore ground gives it a brillant look to the picture. Smile
