Outside The White Hart, Cornwall Road

By GwailoAngMo
Wandering out and about in unfamiliar streets just a few yards away from familiar main roads provides new opportunities. I had never been in this part of Waterloo before. A strange twist of fate brought me here some years later.

I presume that is the link bridge between Waterloo and Waterloo East. I must have walked that hundreds of times but not actually seen it from below !

Spot on!

The area is full of dwellings which estate agents might refer to as "workmen's cottages". On a quiet, cold, winter Sunday afternoon, it felt more like an area of gentrified weekday pied--terres waiting for their owners return from their place in the country. Or do I sound bitter? Tongue

Honest, truthful, a tad fed up maybe? Definitely not bitter!
