Over the Line

By cuffit
This was taken at the British Superbike meeting at Cadwell Park on Saturday - first day of practice. Another attempt of mine to take shots on the sstart-finish straight where few others do for good reason - those people being more sensible! I had a high failure rate and ended up with 3 or 4 shots worthy of showing. However, at first I didn't think I had anything and the 3 of this rider were a great relief as I had intended to get shots of him - what luck!

I did try lower shutter speeds but 1/250 was the only successful speed. I managed to get the pit board in and the bike is sharp front-to-back which I was pleased with as they are doing 100-plus at this point.

Steve, thanks for your comment. It doesn't often work but when it does it makes things worthwhile. Thanks to all for votes. Chris

Mike, thanks for comment and vote - sorry to have missed you. I did take some shots from the foot of the mountain and noticed that there was a steward at the entrance to the 'Mountain Stand' so thought it was ticket only - not that I have much luck from there. Great day out though and watching Josh Brookes worth the price of the ticket alone! Chris
