overowler to higger

this is the first offering from my new D300S i have given up on downloading to cs3 and i have resorted to nikon software for raw conversion. i believe that cs3 is incapable of supporting this model even with plugins but thanks to those who offered advice, i followed all leads.

it was taken just after sunrise on the morning of Christmas eve whilst i was out snapping with Dave Wharmby. it was really cold but it was a lovely morning. i havnt been up Over Owler for a couple of years and ive never been up in deep winter so for me it was a real pleasure.

I was trying to catch the raking light on the cotton bud effect of the frosted snow and keep a balance between the two tors that are so eternally popular on these gallery pages.

1/80sec. f14. iso320. raw, 0.9 hard Lee ND 12mm

thanks for looking, and for all your clicks and comments throughout the year, they are much appreciated.

check it out large to follow the footpath to Higger
