Thank you for the votes/comments on my previous upload of a Lapwing, much appreciated.
Today's images are a first for me of an Oystercatcher. Luckily for me there are a mating pair around a local lake to me. They are very timid and soon fly off as you approach them. I hope to get some better images soon.

A fine set of shots Derek, v2 being the pick. These birds can often be seen at reasonably close quarters at Slimbridge and in fact I saw two from the Holden Tower on my visit there today.
