great image - beautifully captured

wonderful colours, tones, atmosphere etc and great composition

may i ask though how we mod this - do we make it worse in some way using photoshop because i can't see anything at all that needs changing from this perfect creation =)

Have to agree with Peter - it's a stunner, Ian Smile

Really nice composition and well spotted on the boats arranged in the foreground. The sky is too heavy for my liking, there is plenty going on in the picture already and it just doesn't quite work. Did you try this without working too much on the clouds?

Although I like the scene/composition I think it is overworked, particularly the clouds and engine cowl. It makes it look almost like a cartoon.

If you could back off some of those heavy tones a touch I think it would be much better.

thanks for clicks and kind comments see mod for no edit version i think the heavy edit gives it more impact a bit of punch no edit version is a bit bland am i wrong /

Looking at the original, perhaps masking off the sky and lifting the rest would be worth a try?
