LOL I didn't know this was yours until after I'd awarded it!!! I never look at the photosgrapher's name until after I've awarded an image. A fantastic long exposure image, with wonderful colours!

Cheers

Phil

When I'm scrolling through the images, one by one, all I see on my 23inch monitor is the image and the thumbnails below it. I don't want to know who the image belongs to, as I don't want that knowledge to in anyway cloud my judgement on whether to award an image or not. I don't want to know if the image belongs to one of my close EPZ friends or followers, or if the image belongs to a person who wins a lot of awards on the site.

When I saw this image, I thought 'wow', that is a pretty cool shot! The results of the long exposure, the crop, and the colours, are what created the 'wow' factor about the image for me.

I clicked on 'vote' and then awarded the image. I then scrolled down, and noticed who it belonged to.

That's the plain truth.

Consequently, my nose is pink, perfectly clean, and free from pimples!!! SmileSmileSmileSmile

Cheers

If you were there on the Saturday, one of those photographers may have been me. I saw quite a few.

Ah, just missed then. I was there in the morning, headed off around 12, joints needed warming up. Lovely day to be in there though.

Bloody 'ell, I was there Saturday afternoon too! On the east side of the water, headed downhill before cutting back across to Longshaw. I took a few snaps but I had my wife and dog in tow, pestering to move on every 5 seconds! Nice afternoon out, but our dog can't walk too far as she's an old girl now, and she fell face first into a muddy bog and we had to wash her down in the water! The muddy bog was covered over with leaves and not obvious that it was about a foot deep!!

Regarding the photo, there seems to be a lot of vertical banding or noise to the water at the bottom of the image. Given the camera specs I'm a little surprised at that. Still a nice image though.

We will have crossed on the opposite sides as I was on the west going up!

Lol I think it's the clattering of tripods that make the leaves drop Wink
