Padley clearing

This was taken in November and I was finding it difficult to see a pleasing composition in the woodland.
However this clearing had been used for felling and the three logs seemed to represent some meaningful shape for the foreground.

Law of threes. It works well Mike. The logs appear to from an arrowhead pointing into the picture.

Hi Mike,

Excellent thought gone into this shot sir. Like th way you have used the logs as a lead and probably the best place in Derbyshire.

The comps is excellent Mike. Using the tree trunks in the f/g to take the eye into the full depth of the image. Good dof it is too.
