Pain & Gain

Hi all and thank you once again to for your very welcome votes and fun comments on my 'Can I Help You Sir'.
And now, it's welcome to my 'Race For Life' Weekend. A rather large upload Today, and not much smaller Tomorrow and I hope you enjoy them and get a real feel of the event. Again these pictures are from Mote Park in Maidstone, a lovely setting for this VERY worthwhile event. I've tried to capture a bit of everything and something for everyone this Year. When I arrived on Sunday Morning, the 10K was all but over and some of the first pic's here, are from that, but also the warm up etc, from the 5K And warm up it did! The hottest Day of the Year so far, and Midday onwards was not a good time for some of the Women and Girls to be out there Running Jogging or Walking.
If any of you lovely Ladies out there are inspired by these images, please look into signing up for next Years event somewhere near you, the atmosphere's great and so much Money raised for Cancer research.
Don't miss Tomorrows upload if you enjoy these.

All the best to all,

John Smile

Good on her! That sounds very positive. I thought she was having a crafty smoke on the way round, but glad she wasn't! SmileSmile

Smashing set, John, very colourful and well-caught; impressive to for the huge number of ladies involved.
Do you send the organisers a set of pics too? I'm sure every little extra publicity would help them.
Regards
Bill

P.S.: V22 for me and possibly for the charity too - stunning perspective.

Super series describing the event beautifully - well almost. I note that you have lots of images of comely women which is a great bonus for most male clickers viewing this set, but no beefcake for we ladies. I'm sure that there must have been some men running, so only 9/10 this time!

Wonderful set John that really shows what a fabulous day this was - you have posted a great mix of before / during and after shots which reports the whole event so well - love all the pink walking down the country lane and it's brilliant that so much money is raised for the charity by these ladies. Brilliant. (don't think I didn't notice one or two "cheeky" images in the set)! I too hope you have sent these off to the local press and organisers.

A set of images which have so many meanings, stories to tell, heart rendering and somewhat cheeky at times, yet all brought together as one. Great documentary photography John.

John couldn't be in two places at once Lynne! I'm sure Julie would have taken a few snaps of him wearing his pink t-shirt with pride had you asked her too!Wink
