Pamukkale - Turkey

I was going through my archives to see if there was anything that I'd planned to upload in the past but never got around to it.

I've uploaded several versions of this one in the past but not this one so here it is!

It may look like snow but it isn't, it's calcium and minerals that have been brought to the surface by hot springs.

Taken in 2008.

I had a guard chase me because I had shoes on when I walked accross the top, he went balistic, so took off my shoes and calmed things down, excellent composition and exposure.

Went there many years ago. Some bloke with a basket of pizza litery thrust a pice of pizza into my hands and then demanded payment for it, he got quie shirty with me when i refused to pay him . A spectacular place to visit though.
