Pan-dimensional Space

By baclark
Hi everyone, well we had a wonderful if hectic week with 7 of us in our little house rather than 2! Great to see the family even if my fridge door fell off second day of their visit, broken hinge!!

Since then we've been busy preparing for a special 'Do' we have quite soon, so not been online much.

Thanks for the C&C's on my - The Plank image, it was as I found it, no PS jiggery pokery!

Here's a different one for you today. A few weeks back my vegetable steamer was accidently put on to cook the veg without water in the bottom. The result, a rather interesting abstract of overheated metal! Thought it looked a bit space like, I can almost hear the groans about the title from here! Wink
Take care all
Barbara

As they used to say "Houston, we have a problem"!! Poor pan has suffered seriously but at least makes for an interesting image! Trust you to see it's potential!

Made me laugh, I have produced specimens like that but never photographed them. Maybe we should all burn the cooking more often?

What a shame about the burnt pan - however you have managed to salvage a superb abstract! Well done!

WOW what a superb image Barbara, I would never think of taking a photo after doing that Smile Maybe I should. Certainly looks like a photo of the galaxy, like this a lot.

Oh goodness! I must admit it's something I worry about with the steamer - it's so easy to turn on without putting water in! But at least you got this fascinating abstract, so not all is lost. (Did you end up with desiccated veg? Wink)

Why not just be honest about it, Barbara, and admit you badly wanted a new steamer, so how convenient this little 'accident' was.Wink I must 'drop' my sigma lens and will have to replace it with a canon, as the sigma is no longer made.Smile whistles innocently
It does proveide a very good abstract, I will say.

If only Malc, it was only 2 months old, replacing the one I'd had for about 10 years! Couldn't have happened to the old one could it?! Sad

I never thought of taking a pic off all the pans my wife has burned Barbara !!
Looks like a bit of rust here.
I thought it may have been your broken hinge !!

30th click from me - wonderful colours, and it will make a super layer for other images too Barbara - I regularly use the patterns on the inside of my saucepans as layers !!!
