Well this MUST beat the 86 of "Let There Be Light!!" if only for the great sky.
Especially as the 1st one has so many faults.
Just read the comments you mentioned above and conclude "blimey it's tough at the top"....I would have thought it was perfect if I took it.

Absolutely stunning image Fran... but surely this can't have been taken over the weekend... the light and sky are spectacular and certainly in stark contrast to what I can remember!!! Don't even think Paul has that much control of the weather!!! lol Of course if it was... I am even more jealous of you lot than I was before!!!

Wow! Was this the same weekend i was at, was it even the same country?? - Martin
Well you know by now that if anyone will have a niggle it will be me, sorry. The reflection is absolutely stunning, but I can see a small halo along the line where the mountains meet the sky and to be honest the saturation looks a bit Spinal Tap to me (cranked up to 11). Knock the sat back a bit and remove the halo and you have a cracking shot though.

Always appreciate your comments Neil. TBH, the saturation is a bit of guesswork, as I'm still losing lots in the conversion stage, so I'm boosting it at the "Save for Web" stage - - must've "overcooked" this one
As for the halo, I've just checked the RAW file and it's there too - - so not too sure about how I can "mend" that one

I agree with Neil about the saturation, it is a bit OTT, 'cos the sky is almost unnaturally blue, but the mountains you could probably get away with.
Yes, I too see a slight halo over the area where the mountains meet that bright cloud. This has happened to me on occasion and I think it might be down to the fact that it is a very high contrast edge, so it's very easy to make it more obvious by sharpening. Do you also notice it through the trees on top right? I can''t make it out on my monitor but I wouldn't be surprised if it was there too. I don't know the cure really.
