Parasitic plant Desert Hyacinth

By Savvas511
Parasitic plant Desert Hyacinth
Other common names are: (Cistanche tubulosa, dhanoon, Tartuth) The last one Tartuth is the one I double checked with locals here and yes it exists and lives only a short time and Camels avoid it for some reason.,
Well, These are my Lead Image and Versions of this special desert Plant.
The reason I am sharing it with you with such pride is that I walked kilometres and kilometres and I met only a couple of them. GrinGrinGrin

Enjoy looking

Beautiful name for this colourful plant. Maybe it gains its nutritional needs from other plants, but surely make the desert look little bit more beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Ivana

Strange to grow in the desert, but nature has given them so harmonic colors with their enviroment, to be protected from any possible enemy. Great set, Savvas!
