Pareidolia

By Toobi_Won
Pareidolia: Seeing faces, animals and other shapes in unusual places.
I saw the above image through my kitchen window and thought it looked like a reclining teddy bear. By the time I had removed the marigolds and apron and found a camera, it had morphed into the shapes above. To me, it's either a leaping puppy or a terrier's portrait.
Seeing a dog or dogs in clouds suggests the company of loyal friends and faithful companions.
Just a crop in Photoshop and the application of a curves adjustment layer to bring out a little more contrast before converting to mono with Sliver Efex Pro.

Pareidolia - it's an incurable condition, but basically harmless... Wink

Some think it's a form of Apophenia, Moira, which is the tendency to mistakenly perceive connections and meaning between unrelated things and could indicate the beginning stages of schizophrenia.Sad

Pareidolia, yes we all suffer from it when we see members of parliament ( seeing intelligence where it doesn't exist) Sorry mike, have you tried taking more water with it?

Frankly I can see a plethora of pooches but then again I've been quietly knocking back the old Buckfast Tonic Wine since taking tea with Bertie and Aunt Agatha. There is of course a simple explanation - this must be one of the dog days. Wink
Yours somewhat dottily and wandering lonely as a cloud, William Wordsworst. Smile

I'd been on the vodka and windowlene, Graham which may have had a bearing on the visions. Although, the cocktail does tend to leave one's eyes all shiny and bright.Wink
As to dog days, every dog should have one.Smile
