Part of Lewes castle gate

You might laugh at this photo.. and ask "Why?"...Grin
Two reasons: One, I quite like the metal design;
Two, ' technology' changing in several hundreds years...
Background was the early Norman's, the castle was built with flint stones, I couldn't imagine how long it took and how many people involved into the work ; foreground.. I don't know the date it was made, it wouldn't be more than a couple of centuries....it perhaps was made by a few people... took... a lot less time. I don't really know, I can't make gateGrin...
Thanks for looking, without the thoughts it is a very boring photo, it might still be with the thoughts....

I love it - esp. for the 2 slanting lines, one with more of a slant. Makes for an interesting composition.
