Passion.

By lifesnapper
Hi all and many thanks for kindly voting and commenting on my Segway images, very much appreciated.

Today, it's back to my Samos images to finish off the series that I started last year, yes, that long ago.😊
A shot that I took in a bar of a passionate moment between two lovely people who we became friends with during the second week of our holiday. Paul, the one on the right, is an artist form Bath. He showed me a few of his paintings which he had photographed on his camera showing different stages of their development. My favourite was an incredible portrait of the jazz musician, Miles Davis, best known for his haunting trumpet sound. The way that Paul had constructed the face using many colour patches, is something I'd never seen before. Apparently, Paul is very good at kissing too, but I'll take his partners word for that.💋

I do hope the New Year has started well for everyone, and let's hope it turns out to be much better than it's looking at the moment.

All the best to all,

John😊

You seem to be concentrating on monochrome just now, John, and the results are very pleasing.
Your subjects seem to be concentrating too, but hang the monochrome . . . . .

Excellent image that captures the passion beautifully (and conjures up looooooooooong distant memories).

Kissing is an art, not a science, and it therefore requires a real artist to perform it .. he could be clamping one of his paintings under his armpit, too, to make the scene more convincing

Passion indeed John. As a big Miles Davis fan. Maybe ' Steaming ' would be ideal
