Pasta panic

By philtaylorphoto
Shelves cleared of all pasta by shoppers in Tesco due to a fear of shortages.

Same with toilet and kitchen rolls and bizarrely liquid soap. You can get as many bars of soap as you want.

A bizarre week that started with a suspected murder inquiry via 1970s food photography and a major fire.

Well,,, not quite. See chef challenge photos in my portfolio. Angel Delight can look good.

The 'murder inquiry' was quite sad, two blokes in their 70s called in for questioning, it turned out that the victim in their 50 s died due to a fall. Took up a whole day of work, but forensics and CSI had it tied up properly.

An hour after I had shot this I was in an industrial estate at a major blaze

Today, a church coffee morning, and seeing how quiet the shopping areas are. Oddly, apart from some items, shopping seems normal.

I'll know it's REALLY bad when there's a sudden run on bidets...

Are church coffee mornings still happening? I know that there's C of E guidance on the subject, though I'm not sure if it's entirely Biblically-based...

Dudler, there's probably something in Leviticus about hand wipes and sanitizer.

An interesting day. Church coffee morning off due to c of e advice, local homeless facility closed, large Methodist hall having a concert tonight, but likely to cancel meetings and music from next week. Sadly I will miss covering a good concert then.

On the way back from the office I met a homeless bloke begging, he was unaware of the closure. He was gutted, so I bought him a pasty.

We're going to see if the British are made of the stuff they used to be, in terms of keeping calm, carrying on, and looking after others.

I am entirely certain that Leviticus covers all aspects of cleanliness entirely adequately!
