This is part of the Theatre District in Central Milton Keynes; a place that has one theatre and a number of bars, clubs and restaurants where every Friday and Saturday night (in particular) the booze flows and the Police are busy.
MK is interesting if you know where to go. There are so many modern buildings you wouldn't get too bored; if you do then pop off to one of the country parks or the canal.
