I think the lead is excellent and I'm giving it my UA because it works, eerie, dark and stark trees. Just right.
You asked about the versions and honestly, neither work for me. That is obviously only my opinion and my taste, somebody else may absolutely love them. V1 is too much and V2 may be different without the colours, I'd like to see it without.
I would say keep working with the IR, I love the effects and have struggled with it for a long time, doesn't appear to be an exact science!

Very effective and a fine trio James 👍 When using film I did try infrared colour slide film, and it was recommended using a green or red filter. With no filter it produced colours as in V2 😃

Thank you very much Kath for your UA and comments. Your remarks on the versions echo my thoughts; I put them up to see what others might say.
Still experimenting of course and will have other tries when I have suitable images.
