A magnificent, large, beautifully detailed landscape, Ian. I love the light reflecting off the foreground rock and the midground peak. I can see why you hold this view in such high regard: the distance, the sense of infinity, the impression that the peaks go on forever - a remarkable scene.
Excellent Ian, a real beauty of a mountain image. I had every intention to climb the two munros on An Teallach last weekend but the weather forcast put paid to that, still on my radar to do especially seeing it like this.

stunning image of a stunning mountain. Did you do the ridge? Sitting on Lard Berkeley's Seat with both feet hanging into the void now that blows your mind! Unfortunately when I climbed it, it was covered in thick mist so I never got to enjoy this view. Definitely on my list of places to revisit. Awesome thanks so much for sharing

Both times I have climbed An Teallach I have been impressed by the mountain but I have never been fortunate enough to get weather like this. I like the way the light is catching part of the ridge in the middle distance.

Hi Dennis. No, afraid not I've climbed it four times and each time I was thwarted by high winds enveloping cloud or horizontal rain. I camped on the summit and intended to tackle the ridge the following morning around dawn but alas if there was a sunrise I couldn't see it, I even had trouble finding my tent again after wandering off a few yards to weigh up the possibilities.
This is absolutely stunning mate. Great shot! Well worth the effort. Hope to catch up soon!
