Thanks so much for all your wonderful comments on "Thoughts", you really are very kind.

I was digging through some old shots yesterday and I found this little fellow digging his way back! I wondered what sort of background I could give him, then I found an image of the US flag and it seemed to work - extra textures added too (of course!).

Have a great day and congratulations to all the winners in the Christmas prize draw (nothing for me but my husband won a prize!)

Looks rather cute, though I doubt any gardener in the USA doesn't feel that way!

Ann
How clever you are Carol, he looks so proud standing on the flag. Ten out of ten.

Loads of these little prairie dogs run wild all over the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre near Perth. They are so cute and just pop up in the middle of paths. The flag is very well suited to this shot. Another great piece of processing Carol. Moira

Well-- he looks a lot like what we call a ground hog-- wood chuck or whistle pig NOT a beloved American citizen, but it is a cleverly made image!

This groundhog is standing so proudly to attention and it was a great idea to include the American flag. It was groundhog day a few days ago and the famous groundhog at Gobblers Nob predicted that we are in for a harsh month ahead weather wise. The beast is rarely wrong with his predicitions just like the dearly departed Paul the Octopus from Berlin zoo who had an uncanny knack of picking winners of football matches
