Good day to you all at ePz

Thank you all for you most wonderful commented and votes following yesterdays upload of the 'Organists House in Rochester'

Todays images were captured whilst taking a spot of respite on the Isle of Sheppey last month. The original image is image number two which I was very tempted to upload first, however quite a few of you like things to be cropped and just so, so I have catered for the masses and uploaded two variants.

I hope that you all have a great day, for me who knows...

Regards as always Nathan GrinGrinGrin

I'm going to be difficult and suggest a crop right on the apex of the building! Smile in any event, two eye catchers Nathan.

Just what I was thinking. The combination of the angles and horizontals is great.Smile

I love v2! It looks like the roof is threatening the poor wee beach huts!
I love these type of shots, colour, symmetry quirky & V 2 gets my vote today.

This striking shot really cheered me up Smile V1 is great - simple, bold and graphic. Love it.

I can see why you cropped the way you have Nathan, it condenses the colours and shapes nicely.
Ann has come up with a good alternate crop, which would work as well.

Two superb shots Nathan, I like the both with a slight preference for V2. Another possible option would be to crop V2 to the apex of the angled roof, just a thought SmileSmile Very well spotted and captured

The letterbox crop accentuates the horizontals and correspondingly the contrast with the verticals. Lovely geometry. The inclusion of the sky introduces an unnecessary distraction for me.

V1 I'll come back to in a moment. Between V2 and V3 I definitely favour V2. V3 looks cramped, it's the two triangles of blue sky not being connected.

V1 stands on its own. Formal, tidy; not-quite symmetry, which I always find more interesting than pure symmetry. The three fan-grilles or whatever they are on the left, the darker shadow on the right. The way the combination of red and white on the left smoothly flows into blue and white on the right.

You weren't standing quite centrally when you took this, you were a pace to the left, and that has resulted in the wall planks not being quite level. For a formal, almost geometric composition like this I think straightness matters. So I'd like to skew the top right corner up a notch. That's all I'd change.
