Patriotic Celebration

By K_T
I have to upload something patriotic for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

My second shot from Haworth, Yorkshire. The main shot is the guy and background, but I've added in the lady, sky and the wall to hide some of the clutter. Left the building and flags in the image as I thought it adds to the story.

The sky on the shot was just a white block, don't you just hate it when you travel somewhere for photos and then the sky is just nothing.

Keep up the good work everyone, lots of people getting in touch and being inspired. Take photos you like, have fun processing them and don't get caught up with people that think they know better. Photography is a technical art and you are the artist....roll which ever direction you wish!

Like my Facebook page if you want to hear my ramblings and enjoy the celebrations!

Very well worked, KT. The partially de-saturated look certainly is in keeping with the era portrayed.
He looks like a right spiv.

Fabulous work as usual from you! The toning suits the scene & I like how you've left the colour in this flags!
