Peace and Harmony

By TrevBatWCC
Standing alongside the Echo Arena in Chavasse Park, Liverpool is this eye-catching sculpture, entitled 'Peace and Harmony'. It was created in a collaboration between 19 year old California artist Lauren Voiers, who created the original painting that inspired it, and Lyle London, co-owner of Art in Metal of Tempe. A renowned sculptor, London helped interpret Voiers painting and bring it to life as a sculpture. It was unveiled by Julian and Cynthia Lennon at a ceremony on Saturday October 9, 2010 to celebrate what would have been John Lennonís 70th birthday.
V3 is a close-up of it from round the opposite side.

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

I think I like V2 best, as the curve of the sculpture echoes the curve of the building roofline behind it. It's certainly an eyecatching piece!

The vote's for V2. I like your composition in V1 but the birds don't have the same sense of space to soar, and that's what this is about I think.

I think this is quite beautiful both in shape and in colour, and love the doves on the top.
The group of versions go together, so I'm not choosing a favourite.
The detail in the close-ups is wonderful.
