Peak Colours

By AaronCollettPhotography
Taken yesterday morning at 06.07 - Curbar Edge, Derbyshire. It was worth the 3.00am start and drive up from Northamptonshire. Spent the day in the area so more photos to follow.

The sky and cloud coverage was a little challenging, but it would be boring if everything was handed to you on a plate.

That'll be me behind the rock in the distance then - thought I spotted another early bird photographer. I think I passed you as I was heading back to the car to go to work. I thought the muted colours were quite nice yesterday and this shows the heather and rocks very well.

Cheers, Ian.

Excellent shot, very atmospheric. You were lucky to get any morning light, I haven't been so lucky on my recent dawn trips.

Lovely view, and I love the contrast between the light in the foreground and the misty background.

Very, very good. Like the way the sunlight highlights the heather and rocks. Lovely view.

Nicely composed, and beautiful light shinning on the foreground bringing out the colours.
