Nothing fires my imagination like steps that no-longer go anywhere and, disused doorways.
The perfect view point here and the portrait mode allows us a closer look at the main subject matter.
A very good addition to the series, Bill.

You've gone for maximum triangles there, Bill. And very effective and pleasing to the eye is the result.

I'm with John regarding the apparent 'steps to nowhere'
I am also with Alan on the matter of triangles.
The airplane con-trail something the original users of this structure would never have seen.

the skies (including airplane trail) and the little flowers go for granted, however they make up an important part of this beautifully configured image

Powerful mono tones in the stonework and sky gives strength to the ruin and shows it off to advantage

Agree with all the above - a great shot Bill. I also like the diagonals of the shadow/wall and the steps working together. Really nice composition.

Makes us think what it would have been like when working...where do those steps lead to or from? Nice work, Bill 👍

This wall has the perception of being paper thin which seems odd to the eye all the other components of
the image appear to be floating which is down to the perspective I like this one a lot
