Another from this years jaunt to Glen Trool.
Taken in August, on a warm day, down at the Dragonfly pond. Don't know if it has a proper name, but the place is hoaching with all kinds of insects, the majority of which are dragonfly.
This is an Emerald Damselfly, taking a break for a few minutes, on the edge of the pond.
Cropped and sharpened slightly using High Pass (hard light).
