Pelican

I thought I would try this angle for a bit of something different...I find pelicans such fascinating birds.. They look like a few different types of bird thrown together to end up looking like they do...GrinGrin

at the end of their beak it looks like a giant fingernail or claw...

I love the detail in V3. But it has to be V1, for the very coy but calculating look in that eye.

This picture (V1) is so good that I enlarged the eye and saw half of Lynnie's face.

Three great shots, last time i took these in a Zoo i found it difficult to frame with the massive beaks that they have. V1 is wonderful
