I went up to the Yorkshire Dales saturday just gone to make a change from the Peak District. It's an area often overlooked by me just due to the close proximity of the Peaks and if I go further, the Lakes aren't much further and end up there.

However, we made the effort even when the forecast was dull and grey but was rewarded with a fantastic day with some sublime lighting and stormy clouds. Very pleased.

This is a shot of Pen-Y-Ghent taken from the Pennine Way.

It's a very appealing image - colour/toning etc...but I keep wanting to tilt my head when looking at it Wink

Just of the boardwalk if I remember rightly. You've got some sublime lighting which you have made the most of on the grasses with a low pov. An excellent image with lovely depth.

Yes I was there too - ( Twisleton) and the light and weather were really good. Really good shot with nice colour in the grasses.
