This is Penny, about six years ago. this second of the two dogs we took on. The other one, Chloe, was yesterdays upload.
Penny was a cross between a Yorkie and a wire brush. lol.
We had this little girl for about 18 months before we lost her to the tumours which had been neglected until we had her.
v2 shows her with grandson Adrian, she also had terrible breath when she first arrived.
The original owner came to visit and Penny jumped on my lap and wrapped her paws around my neck as if to say "I want to stay with you", which she did.
I must admit to a shed tear when i talk about it.

Dogs certainly know when they are loved and cared for best, as Penny clearly told you! She's a lovely wee thing. Glad she had such a good home for the last part of her life.
