Pentre Ifan

This cromlech is 5500 years old and was the entrance to a barrow where several people were buried. It is to be found in the heart of the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire. It's been photographed several times before and is a great subject for moonlight togging and sunsets.
But, this is my take on it and I loved the winter light that poured into the image for a fleeting minute. Carn Ingli is the hill on the horizon and overlooks Newport.

Home of my family for as long as records go back. Wonderful to see it here and beautifully captured - not that we lived in the Cromlech of course, but very nearby Grin
