People of Peru (i)

One of things I loved most about Peru is that its full of Peruvians! And as this mini-series will focus on, Peruvians of all ages are such wonderfully photogenic people. The poorest houses in town are at the top of very steep hills, and these people trudge up and down them every day as they go about their daily lives. This was taken in Cusco (altitude 3400m) in 2015

Trying to work out when we were there...looked back through my of and find it was 2007...seems like a lifetime, but still vivid in my memory. We bought a replacement wedding ring in Cusco...

I think I could live in Cusco - felt immediately at home there. If I had the money (and time to spend at leisure) I'd have a place here, a place in Goa, a place in Greenland, and one on the med for long weekends.Smile
