Yes, it works, Tanya.
You must have spent hours wrapping that field in clingfilm.

A storm-tossed island in a mountainous sea?
The fragility of our world?

Nah ... a bonsai tree on a bit of slate Wink
I did think that back bit looked like a gigantic dark ocean wave though, so I guess I'm on the right lines somewhere along the way Grin

Looks good.
Just considering if a silhouette of a bird or three (no more than that) would add something (foreboding?), like the crows and jackdaws that inhabit the wild places.

The bottom half looks edible in a naughty-but-nice fattening kind of way, and the top bit is, frankly, scary.
That tree needs to make a decision. Fast.

quite wonderful, bonsai tree before the tsunami,or people should peg their washing out better. Excellent.

Well, at least I know that the idea (in principle, at least) works so thanks for the positive feedback!

Edible bottom bit, eh, Alan? Hmm ... didn't quite think of it that way at the time, but I suppose there is something vaguely Mars about it ... chocolatey, caramelly, ripply and nougatty (sp?) ... dammit, I want chocolate now!! Sad

Crows, darker mood and the absence of the tree will I think be the next steps for this background. Haven't yet decided what I'll put in instead of the tree (well, I have actually, but just need to try it and see whether it works or not).

But good to get opinions Grin
