Peregrine Falcon

By ugly
This I thinks a Peregrine Falcon and I think his name is Mirlin.
This was taken at Bosworth Battle fields back in November.
As you can see low light condistions Heavey grey cloud...
It was hard keeping up with this chap he moves very quickly.
This was the last bird out for the day and alot of people could not get a lock on there server.
I bump my iso up to 32.000 and start to get a few images I think I had to go to the very top of the iso to get this image.
I am very happy with it.
As you can see the bell on the tail feathers and the noise of not bad...
I hope you enjoy looking at him...
Dave

Difficult light, and a long lens. Well done on the clarity of the bird as it is. Well composed and I like the position of the bird in the air.

Great shot and your large sensor on the D3 helps with such a high ISO. Your right they move so quick. Nice work. Paul
