Peregrine Falcon Feeding Time

By Davesumner
Came accross this Peregrine Falcon at Werribee Water Treatment Plant, west of Melbourne. It had just killed a Pink Eared Duck whose feathers are just to the left of the Falcon. It was a little startled by our arrival but after flying around a bit it came back to finish its lunch. This bird has onviously been tagged several times looking at the rings on its legs.

I've now uploaded a variant image of this bird.

Thanks for looking and I hope you like it.

Dave

I like V1, the 'expression' on the bird is superb, I have never seen a bird 'face' looks like this before..Excellently captured image.
BTW, thank you very much for your MOD and critique on "Boat..."

Good capture. I prefer V2 the expression and also it looks a little sharper.
