despite earlier prediction of changeable weather, trusted instinct and ventured forth...
lunch in the the garden followed by dessert of stupendous cakes and coffee at the Victorian real tennis annex...
the weather, though cold, was bright and walking the grounds to the walled garden extremely invigorating...
much restoration work in progress...
and the autumnal brightness enhanced the large array of plants still in magnificent bloom, of which this is is one of many images taken today...
